AHCA/NCAL Elects New Boards for 2025/2026

At its annual conference in Las Vegas on Wednesday, the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living (AHCA/NCAL) has elected AHCA’s Board of Governors and NCAL’s Board of Directors for 2025/2026, with Chris Wright of Connecticut the new AHCA chair, and Sarah Silva of Oregon the new NCAL chair.

Wright is the co-founder and current chair of iCare Health Network, which manages 12 skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Vermont.


Members of AHCA’s 2025-2026 Board of Governors include:

NCAL also elected its board, including Sarah Silva as new chair. Silva is the president and co-founder of Arete Living, which operates assisted living, memory care, and independent living communities in nine states.
