Park Place Live goes beyond news and analysis and offers readers the opportunity to really nerd out on skilled nursing sector data that is more than easy to access, and more than useful for your bottom-line strategizing.

Case in point is State‑Ments, the interactive Park Place Live section powered by Zimmet Healthcare’s z-INTEL.

Inside the tool, which can be clicked on from the listing of Park Place Live categories on the left side of the home page, is an interactive map for a user to explore a curated set of skilled nursing and long‑term care metrics—from occupancy and Medicare share to agency staffing use and related‑party offsets.

Use it to benchmark your performance, compare markets across state lines, or evaluate potential investment opportunities. Data will evolve over time, with new features and points added based on your feedback. Dive in, explore, and tell us what you’d like to see next.

“The other thing is if you're thinking about going to a state or investing in a state, you're able to see some pretty cool information about what's happening there,” said Mark Parkinson, the CEO of Park Place Live, in the video explaining the tool (linked below).

Also on the introduction video is Marc Zimmet, president and CEO of Zimmet Healthcare Services Group, who said State-Ments is “like a wakeup call. . .in the way this data is represented, the differences among states from state to state, things that are baseline like occupancy or Medicare share.”

“But to get a little bit more sophisticated, [there is data on] the percentage of agency use on nursing, the related party offsets the amount Medicare pays for reimbursable bad debt. You see the differences and you see how one state is positioned so differently against the other,” he said.
