Jim Collins Is Coming to Park Place! And You’re Invited

Mark Parkinson is hosting a special live interview of leadership guru Jim Collins on June 4 for an in-depth discussion on the author's new book: “What to Make of a Life: Cliffs, Fog, Fire and the Self-Knowledge Imperative."
A few weeks ago, I shared with you that Jim Collins, the “Good to Great” Jim Collins, has a new book coming out. Now, it’s actually out, and “What to Make of a Life: Cliffs, Fog, Fire and the Self-Knowledge Imperative” has already zoomed to the top of many best seller lists.
In AMAZING news, Jim Collins has agreed to do a live interview with me on Park Place to discuss the book. I’m inviting you to what I hope will be a very special conversation. Many of the strongest organizations in LTC today are grounded in the principles of “Good to Great.” This conversation offers a new direction and ideas for exploring what it takes to lead, adapt, and grow in times of uncertainty.
What You Will Gain
Readers of the book and participants in the live interview will gain:
Practical insights on navigating uncertainty and leadership transitions
Lessons from decades of research on high-performing organizations
Perspective on purpose, self-knowledge, and long-term impact
Live Q&A with questions from leaders across the sector
This session is designed for facility administrators, directors of nursing, and executive leadership teams.
Event Details
The event is live. It will take place on June 4 at 2 p.m. EDT. The only cost is that we ask that you purchase a copy of the book to attend. If you have read the book in advance, it will be more meaningful. You can register for the event here.
I’m beyond thrilled that Jim Collins has agreed to do this. I hope you can join us and I’ll do everything I can to make the hour a meaningful experience on “What to Make of a Life.”
