The third in our series on doing business as a SNF in Massachusetts focuses on the views of Tom Lavallee, chief operating officer for not-for-profit Alliance Health Services Management, and outside chair of the Massachusetts Senior Care Association.

In the video, he talks with Mark Parkinson on the evolution in how operators/owners and the state association have tackled post-COVID challenges. The article is titled, “Hitting Home Runs,” because of the recent upswing in positive developments for SNFs in the state.

The pair discuss recent trends in census, staffing, and specific regulatory issues, like Medicaid reimbursement.
