In a state that sees the assisted living side of the business well outnumbers that of skilled nursing facilities in volume, Mockbee describes how the dual advocacy needs of both care groups work in Arizona.

He also drills deep on the regulatory regime in the state, saying one key of late has focused on the need to educate a whole new slate of regulators from the survey level on up as turnover impacts Arizona’s long-term care offices.
