CMS Video Promotes GUIDE for Dementia Care in AL, Community
A new video featuring CMS head Dr. Oz promotes the GUIDE model as a source of assistance for those with dementia and their caregivers.
Dr. Oz is back on the air in a new CMS video promoting the GUIDE (Guiding an Improved Dementia Experience) model as a source of assistance for those with dementia and their caregivers in the community setting, including assisted living communities.
Less than two minutes, the video also includes a link to a website with information on how to locate a GUIDE program in any area of the country.
This Dementia Care Pathways Infographic also offers an overview of GUIDE program services.
GUIDE is only available to those people who are in Traditional Medicare, live in a community setting, and have dementia.
