This week we continue our series on Illinois. Is it really the worst state in the country for a nursing home operator? For decades people have claimed that to be true. What is the real story?


To learn more, we asked Jonathan Aaron from Omnia to give us his view. Jonathan is an operator we should listen to. He owns and operates 45 facilities across three states. On top of that, he is the co-chair of the Health Care Council of Illinois. In that capacity he has been instrumental in uniting a once very divided group of providers to speak with a single powerful voice, improving the chances for successful advocacy initiatives.
