CMS Offers SNF QRP Web Course

CMS is offering a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Quality Reporting Program (QRP): Annual Payment Update (APU) Compliance Essentials web-based training (WBT) course.

This course highlights the CMS resources that support ongoing compliance with the SNF QRP data collection and submission requirements. Modules are designed to be completed sequentially, but participants may navigate directly to topics of interest.

According to the training site, the self-paced course provides an overview of the SNF QRP, including its purpose, structure, and the SNF QRP Life Cycle. It reviews required data collection and submission timelines, reporting requirements, data completion thresholds, and the Data Validation Process. The course also addresses the Extraordinary Circumstances Exception (ECE) and the reconsideration request processes.
