Here’s How to Prep for National Assisted Living Week Sept. 13-19

National Assisted Living Week® (NALW) 2026 takes place Sept. 13-19, and this short video from National Center for Assisted Living (NCAL) Executive Director LaShuan Bethea provides the information needed to prepare for the celebration, the association said.

NCAL, which created NALW in 1995, is sponsored by Joint Commission in 2026.

This year’s theme, “Shining Through the Years,” honors the lives and stories of residents and the important role of caregivers and staff in helping them continue to shine, NCAL said.
